NOVAC is excited to announce our next Delta Regional Authority (DRA) and LED funded Film Industry Workforce Training is Production Office 101. 

This training is FREE and open to Louisiana residents  (18 yrs old +). 

Prospective participants are required to complete an application and may be asked to interview for placement in the training. Participants that complete all post-training requirements will be eligible to be referred for film-industry positions as productions reach out to NOVAC for their hiring needs. Participants also gain NOVAC membership for one year.

In this two day course, trainees will learn the ins and outs and common pathways to the Production Coordinator position. This training is designed for individuals interested in careers in the production office. The goal of this training is to prepare Louisiana natives for entry/mid- level work in the production office (Office PA/Production Secretary), and to provide the tools necessary for career advancement. Participants will review production culture and expectations, learn Production Office structure and positions, and practice administrative procedures and duties used in most production offices.
